Power and performance
System stability is ensured by a digital power design with an 8+2+2 phase layout and 60A DrMOS chips, which efficiently delivers power even to high-performance multi-core processors. The board uses a six-layer PCB for better signal integrity and lower electromagnetic interference. Support for DDR5 RAM in four DIMM slots lets you install up to 256GB of memory. AMD EXPO technology and signal path optimisation enable overclocking speeds of up to 8200MT/s. The X3D Turbo Mode feature in the BIOS further optimises gaming performance by adjusting processor parameters.
Slots and storage
The main PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot is designed for graphics cards and is reinforced with a PCIe UD Slot steel shield for greater mechanical resistance against heavy cards and better signal shielding. The second PCIe 3.0 ×16 slot operates in ×4 mode and is intended for expansion cards. Storage can be installed in two M.2 slots, with the first supporting the PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface for NVMe SSDs and the second operating in PCIe 4.0 ×4 mode. Both slots are equipped with the screwless EZ-Latch system for easy assembly and passive M.2 Thermal Guard heatsinks to prevent drives from overheating. Connectivity for standard drives is provided by four SATA III ports.
Connectivity
Network communication is handled by a 2.5Gbps Realtek Ethernet controller and a Wi-Fi 6E wireless module with support for 6GHz bands and Bluetooth 5.3. The antennas connect via a simplified WIFI EZ-Plug connector. The Realtek audio codec, with support for up to 7.1-channel audio, uses high-quality capacitors and Audio Noise Guard isolation for clear sound transmission. For easy BIOS updates without needing a processor installed, there is a Q-Flash Plus button on the rear panel.
