How to measure temperature with the HARTMANN Veroval Fever infrared contact thermometer?
1. You will achieve the best measurement results if you scan the entire forehead area (from the right temple to the left temple).
2. Use the forehead temperature attachment when measuring forehead temperature. Do not use a disposable protective cap to measure temperature in the ear. Otherwise, errors may occur in the measurement results. If the forehead attachment is attached to the thermometer, remove it from the device first.
3. You can use either the right or left ear when measuring ear temperature.
4. The mode switch must be set to ear temperature measurement.
5. You will measure the highest values when capturing infrared rays from the middle ear (eardrum) area. Rays emitted by surrounding tissue result in lower measured values and therefore distorted results.
