AVACOM Battery for Tools Made of Quality Components
AVACOM battery packs contain only high-quality cells that provide high performance and a long service life. The batteries are equipped with gold-plated connectors and the latest control electronics for trouble-free operation with the device. At the same time, they contain a number of safety features that prevent the battery from overcharging, low-voltage, over-current charging and short-circuiting. AVACOM batteries are not only a good replacement for your original battery - most of the batteries offer a greater capacity (and therefore operate for a longer period of time) than the original battery.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery calibration, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times when you first receive the battery. The battery charger reduces the connection of the power supply from being permanent, so we recommend that you disconnect the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, you should store it in a dry place and check it and charge it approximately every six months.
What does damage to the battery?
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you put it down and do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, you should only charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also, be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
