Cobalt HSS spiral drill bit has a long life when drilling stainless steel. The long service life is the result of a five percent cobalt alloy and ground high-speed steel, which provides excellent surface quality, wear resistance and protection against high temperatures. It is equipped with two blades and two grooves, ensuring fast sawdust removal and further extending its service life. The drill can be used for alloy and non-alloy steel up to a tensile strength of 1000 N/mm², stainless steel, cast iron, steel lithium and acid and high temperature resistant steels. The HSS cobalt spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338. It is an N-type drill bit with a tip angle of 135 degrees and a diameter deviation of h8. Active cutting and perfect centering without sliding is guaranteed by the split tip. The drill has a double-spiral U-shape and a cylindrical shank with CYL clamping system (shank diameter corresponds to the drill diameter). It is designed for use with portable and bench drills with a 3-part chuck.
