Dulux Diamond Glaze - gloss 1 l

Dulux Diamond Glaze clear wood varnish is designed for high-traffic interior surfaces. The water-based formula creates a protective film on floors, stairs, tables or panelling that resists wear, impacts, water and common chemicals. The transparent glossy finish does not yellow and preserves the natural wood grain. The varnish is also suitable for cork or chipboard. Additionally, the water-dilutable base ensures fast drying and minimal odour during application.

Application and coverage of the coat

Apply the varnish with a brush without thinning, straight from the tin. Simply stir the contents thoroughly before use. The coverage of the varnish is 12 to 25m²/L and depends on the condition and absorbency of the substrate. For untreated wood, consumption ranges between 12–20m²/L, while previously painted surfaces achieve a coverage of 20–25m²/L. Apply a total of three coats to achieve optimum protection and a uniform appearance.

Drying time and tool maintenance

Individual coats of varnish dry relatively quickly. The drying time is approximately 2 hours, after which you can apply the next coat. Thanks to the water-based formula, subsequent maintenance of the tools used is easy. Simply wash the brush and other tools with clean water immediately after finishing work. The varnish is designed exclusively for indoor use and should not be exposed to weathering.
