SIKA Primer 210, 30 ml

SIKA Primer 210 is a colourless to slightly yellow solvent-based primer. It reacts with moisture to form a thin layer, which acts as a link between substrates and adhesives. It is used to treat bonded surfaces before applying Sika component polyurethanes. It improves adhesion on metals such as aluminium, steel and non-ferrous metals. You can also use it to enhance the adhesion of Sikasil sealants and adhesives. SIKA 210 primer is suitable for professional use. Before application, adhesion and material compatibility tests must be carried out with the actual substrates and conditions.

Directions for use:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil, dust and dirt. Adhesion to substrates can be improved by adding and/or combining pre-treatment processes such as roughening, cleaning and activation before applying the primer. Apply a thin but fully saturated coat of Sika® Primer-210 with a brush, felt pad, lint-free cloth or foam applicator. Sika® Primer-210 exhibits thermoplastic behaviour for up to 3 days after application, so higher temperatures or premature stress on the joint should be avoided. The ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C. Sika® Primer-210 must only be applied once. Care must be taken to ensure that this single application provides adequate coverage. Consumption and method of application depend on the specific nature of the substrates. Tightly close the container immediately after each use.
