The YATO YT-28630 Voltage Tester is a digital measuring instrument for home use and professional maintenance. It can measure both alternating (AC) and direct (DC) voltage, displaying the value clearly on its LCD screen. For enhanced safety, the tester also offers non-contact detection, where you only need to bring the device close to the installation being tested. An integrated torch makes it easier to work in poorly lit areas. The device measures voltage in the range of 12–250V.
The YATO tester measures both AC and DC voltage across a wide range, from 12V to 250V. You can perform tests in two ways. The first is the classic contact method, and the second is a non-contact induction test, where you simply need to bring the indicator close to the conductor. The measured value is always instantly shown on the clear digital LCD display, giving you an immediate overview of the installation's status.
Non-contact measurement increases safety at work, as it eliminates the need for direct contact with potentially dangerous parts of the circuit. The tester meets the CAT II safety category, making it suitable for working with low-voltage installations in households. For clear signalling, the device is equipped not only with an LED but also with an acoustic signal.
Thanks to its features, this tester is suitable for a wide range of users. The single-pole tester (phase tester) function allows for easy detection of the phase conductor. It is powered by three LR41 batteries.
