Deep cleaning of mattresses
The handheld vacuum cleaner HOOVER HMC5 HMC510UV 011 has 4 functions that are automatically activated when you switch it on. The first is patting, where a motorised rotary brush rotates at 4200 rpm, patting the mattress and penetrating deep into the fibres. It effectively removes dust mites and allergens, so even asthmatics and allergy sufferers will love it. The second function is vacuuming, which takes care of dust, mites and bacteria with high suction power. It can also handle dander from pets. The UV lamp prevents the multiplication of allergens and mites. The UV light only switches on when the Hoover vacuum cleaner comes into direct contact with the surface, once you lift it off the surface it switches off again. Last but not least, the HMC5 HMC510UV 011 will delight you with its drying function. Hot air at 50 °C helps to dry the mattress and can prevent the spread of mould spores.

HOOVER HMC5 HMC510UV 011 with dust sensor and hybrid rotary brush
A built-in dust sensor combined with a specially designed rotary brush helps remove allergens and fine dust. The Hoover HMC5 HMC510UV 011 handheld vacuum cleaner has a LED dust sensor diode that informs you about the level of surface contamination. If the surface is clean, the LED is green, dust detection is red. The motorised rotary brush is made of soft nylon fibre and rubber squeegee. It penetrates deeper into your fabrics and cleans them thoroughly. It is also suitable for delicate surfaces and captures even the finest dust.

Double dust container for long-lasting suction
The new double dust container with cyclone design provides high separation efficiency. A metal cyclone is used to separate the heavy dust and hair from the finer dust that is trapped in the second part of the cyclone. This design effectively reduces the frequency of filter maintenance even with long-term use.

Easy maintenance of the Hoover HMC5 handheld vacuum cleaner
Don't expect any effort when maintaining the vacuum cleaner itself. The Hoover HMC5 boasts a 0.6l dirt hopper, which is sufficient volume even for large areas. There is no need to interrupt cleaning for frequent emptying. Once you have filled the container, you can quickly and hygienically dispose of its contents. Simply press the button to remove it and then empty it into the bin. To maintain the efficiency of the Hoover HMC5 HMC510UV 011 we recommend regularly washing the container, filters and separation system under running water. For maintenance of the Hybrid Rotary Brush, use the coin to quickly and easily remove the brush cover and clean it afterwards.

Hoover is a leading manufacturer of vacuum cleaners of the same name. James Spangler gets credit for the development of the first Hoover vacuum cleaner. He was not a scientist, just as an asthmatic who did not like to constantly breathe in the dust from carpets. He sent the assembled vacuum cleaner to his cousin, Susan Hoover, who began to produce it with her husband under their name in 1908. Her goal, to get a vacuum cleaner into every household, has since then been fulfilled. Since 2015, Hoover has also offered large home appliances. All Hoover products combine a high degree of innovation, state-of-the-art technology, and original design.
