The Early Ford Bronco Expedition RC car model on the Axial SCX10 III chassis features an officially licensed Early Ford Bronco body with a realistically sculpted tube cage, functional door frames and many authentic details. The Spektrum receiver with SMART function and the controller with receiver provide telemetry data to the DX3 transmitter. Front Dig function to lock the rear axle, servo, receiver and Spektrum controller are waterproof. The Spektrum DX3 transmitter with exclusive DSMR technology has excellent range, response and interference immunity. It is also compatible with SMART telemetry thanks to the installed components - Spektrum Firma Smart 40A controller and receiver. Using a set of Spektrum Smart LiPol batteries, you can monitor the battery capacity on the transmitter's monitor while riding in all weather and different conditions on the route - the electronics are protected by a waterproof coating. With its durable Axial construction and iconic Ford styling, the SCX10 III Early Ford Bronco 4WD RTR is made for adventures in rugged terrain.

In developing the officially licensed SCX10 III Early Ford Bronco 4WD, Axial engineers pushed the boundaries of function and performance yet again. This is one of the most detailed models Axial has ever produced and is the perfect choice for new and experienced crawler enthusiasts alike. The realism of the model is unprecedented and is sure to please all Ford fans. The finished Bronco lexan body has a moulded tubular cage with functional frame doors and hidden body mounts to maintain the clean lines of the body surface. Other authentic exterior details include the hood intake, badging, windshield wipers, LED headlights and taillights. The front and rear bumpers are positioned at the optimum approach angle for undisturbed rock climbing.

Equally impressive are the interior body details. Inside the cabin you'll find contoured seats, dashboard, gear lever, foot pedals and steering wheel with column. Under the hood is a replica of the 5.0 V8 engine, a gearbox and a powerful Axial 35T engine. Retro-style 3-piece beadlock wheels complement the Early Ford Bronco bodywork and allow for easy mounting, removal and tire replacement without gluing. They complement not only the bodywork. Knock-off style screw-on wheel covers are also included. Licensed replica 1.9 Falken Wildpeak M/T tyres safely overcome obstacles. They are realistic and have excellent grip for climbing rocks and hills. The car also has an Axial spare tire ready to go. The protective frame has mounting tabs for additional lights and a fully functional spare tire.

The proven SCX10 III chassis is the guarantee for the outstanding performance drivers expect from Axial. To lower the center of gravity, the Early Ford Bronco uses AR45 front and rear axles. The triangular suspension geometry is tuned to work with the axles to reduce twist during turn and further enhance the mock-up appearance. Suspension geometry uses a 4-point suspension design that is optimized for off-road riding. It is the high twist of the axles, together with the rigidity of the aluminium anodised bar construction and the solid ball studs, that guarantee use in terrain that a normal car would not be able to handle. Oil-filled adjustable shock absorbers help drivers find the best damping parameters and offer larger shock bodies with more fluid volume for greater efficiency. The oil-anodised aluminium shock absorbers have adjustable spring preload, a cap with bleeder screw for easier filling and reliable damping in all axle arm positions.

Included with the kit is a third channel Front Dig feature that allows you to lock the rear axle with a transmitter for a tighter turning radius. Or you can configure it to two speeds with high and low gearing by moving the included Micro Dig Servo to a two speed circuit. To take advantage of both the 2-speed gearbox and Front Dig functions, just add another servo and a transmitter with at least 4 channels (for example, a 5-channel Spektrum DX5).

On the detailed and officially licensed Bronco body, there are plenty of mock-up details, including a separately mounted windshield and functional tubular doors. The body mounts are carefully hidden in this "ultra mock-up" body. Optional body mounts are also available when using other bodies. Realistic composite molded body cage includes mounts for a functional spare tire and an Axial kit for installing LED lighting (sold separately). The fender inserts and floor sides hide internal chassis components that would otherwise be visible on the chassis. They also help protect the interior of the bodywork and include mounting points for the Axial SCX10 III multi-colour LED Rock lights with driver (sold separately). A faithful mock-up of the V8 engine with gearbox purposefully hides and protects the Axial 35T electric motor, while enhancing the realistic appearance of the chassis and engine unit.
The Bronco chassis includes front and rear wheel fenders, wheel arch protection and bumper guards to protect the body from injury. The bodywork is attached with 4 clips on the underside of the bodywork so that they are not visible and do not interfere with the appearance. Numerous exterior details complete the authentic look of the Early Ford Bronco body. Includes front hood, badge, headlights, air intake trap, tail lights and wipers and more. When you look inside the 2-door body, a number of mock-up details catch your eye. Faithfully contoured seats, a dashboard with alarms, radio and clipboard, steering wheel with column, shift paddles and foot pedals are standard.
For normal operation of the Axial RC car, you need tire glue, bolt glue, a tool kit and silicone shock absorber oil. Tyre adhesive is used to glue the tyres to the rim of the disc. It is always necessary that the tyre is firmly glued to the wheel rim around its entire circumference! If the tyre is not glued all the way around, the tyre may tear. The tyre adhesive has a special formulation that is able to bond materials such as rubber or nylon, while at the same time making the adhesive flexible once it has set. Robitronic Tire Glue is recommended. Occasionally it is necessary to add silicone oil to the shock absorbers of the model and change the oil in the differentials. Normal operation results in only minor leaks of silicone oil down the piston rods of the shock absorber. If the surface of the shock absorber piston rods or the condition of the seals is in poor condition, the oil leakage can be large. Repair kits or individual parts are supplied for these cases. For routine maintenance, screw adhesive is required. Screws screwed into metal material (e.g. screws in the motor, bristles in the pinion) must be secured against loosening with this adhesive.
