The giant 1:6 scale SCX6 Trail Honcho remote control car model takes RC crawlers and expedition models to a new level thanks to its size and off-road capabilities. All fans of rugged off-roading will enjoy the realistic functional chassis and detailed bodywork of the Honcho with distinctive front and rear LED lighting. Based on the proven SCX10 III chassis, a new, larger and even more durable SCX6 chassis has been designed. Panhard 3-point front suspension, 4-point rear suspension and AR90 axles make up the ultimate in all-around performance. The model is equipped with a top-of-the-line Spektrum Smart 120A controller and a powerful AC motor that is sensor-controlled to provide absolutely smooth operation from the lowest speed. With the included Spektrum DX3 transmitter, the model has excellent range, fast response and immunity to interference. Together with the installed Spektrum Smart electronics, the model is ready to provide exclusive telemetry data. Install a Spektrum Smart LiPol battery and you can monitor the model's battery charge on the transmitter.

Durable, powerful and ready for any terrain
The massive, 7" Falken Wildpeak M/T tyres have excellent grip and give the car plenty of ground clearance for driving over rocks and all terrain irregularities. The tires are shod on licensed, 3-piece Black Rhino Primm wheels, so the tires can be easily removed, dried or replaced without gluing. For technical driving and fast passes a 2-speed remote controlled gearbox with Spektrum S614 servo is installed. The control is provided by the S905 servo with a huge force (torque: 38 kg. cm at 6 V, speed: 0.2 s/60° at 6 V), waterproof and dustproof. Durable metal gears provide long life and mechanical durability. The dimensions of the servo are 60 × 55 × 29 mm. Battery compartments are located on both the right and left side of the chassis. You can use just one LiPol drive battery or if you want to extend the run time, you can add a second one on the opposite side of the chassis using the Spektrum Y-cable IC5 parallel cable with battery connector.

Based on the time-tested 1:10 scale chassis - SCX10 III, pushes the new SCX6 chassis in 1:6 scale durability, functionality and performance to the next level with features, which include a steel chassis, four-wheel drive, multipoint suspension, AR90 axles, oil large shock absorbers and more. The Axial SCX6 Honcho 4WD RTR is factory equipped with two high and low gears. The gearbox is controlled remotely via transmitter, the model is equipped with Servo S614 15 kg with metal gears. AR90 axles are equipped with metal gears for high durability. The front tie rods have raised pins with steering rod to maintain high ground clearance. The rear axle can be adjusted for optional rear steering. The model's electronics are hidden under a mock-up of the V8 engine, protecting it and giving the model a realistic look.

The upgraded version of the original Honcho body has a truggy-style rear frame cage with a working spare wheel, traction plates and even a box that can store tools or spare parts. The detailed interior adds to the realism of the model. The model is equipped with impressive LED lighting, for evening rides. LED lighting includes headlights, rear taillights, front amber LEDs in the bumper and dummy lights at the front pillars.

The rugged and powerful Spektrum Firma 5684 1200Kv brushless motor features a 4-pole, 8-magnet rotor with CNC machined aluminum housing, insulated high-purity copper windings, high quality alloy steel output shaft and precision bearings for high durability and clean operation. Gold plated 4mm pin connectors for easy installation. The control of the model is provided by a modern AC sensor controller SPEKTRUM FIRMA CRAWLER 120A SMART with 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 microcontroller, which is able to sense complete telemetry and transmit it to the receiver via an integrated wire in the new IC5 connector. The data is transmitted via the SRXL2 protocol. The controller retrieves information about the type, temperature and voltage of the battery cells directly from the Smart Battery. Real-time stream is available, Temperature, total Smart battery voltage, the voltage of the individual cells of the Smart battery, battery temperature, remaining capacity and engine speed.

The Spektrum DX3 RC transmitter has 3 channels and is compatible with Spektrum Smart telemetry. Excellent range, super fast response and high immunity to interference thanks to Spektrum's exclusive DSMR technology. The model is equipped with Spektrum Smart technology components that offer more model information, easier operation and battery care. All SMART components, including batteries, are capable of communicating with each other and transmitting telemetry. The included DX3 transmitter displays the Smart battery charge status in the model. As a tuning you can display complete telemetry (RPM, speed, temperature and more):
– The addition of a BT module to the DX3 transmitter set, which allows the model to be connected to the Spektrum Dashboard graphical application on a phone or tablet
– Using a Spektrum universal transmitter with display, e.g. DX5C
