The Blade 120 S2 remote control is an excellent model for beginners or for pilots with experience with simple toy coaxial helicopters who want to upgrade to a standard single rotor helicopter. Even seasoned pilots looking for a fun and easy-to-fly model will be intrigued. The purposeful design uses a fixed collective and controlled cyclic paddleless system. The system provides full control and predictable, stable flight characteristics suitable for learning. Exclusive SAFE technology adds extra stability and the ability to choose the flight mode to suit your abilities. If you find yourself in trouble, you can activate the Panic function, which will put the RC helicopter into a stable hover. The RTF version includes everything you need to fly including the transmitter, battery and USB charger. The Blade 120 S2 can be flown outdoors in calm, windless conditions and is small enough to fly indoors. The model is fully assembled and ready to fly.

The model's lightweight airframe is crafted from durable plastics and carbon fiber components that provide mechanical precision and tolerance to absorb typical accidents. Most impacts that occur during training will not cause any damage. However, if something goes wrong or breaks, spare parts are available. Pilots who have a compatible Spektrum transmitter with a display can take advantage of providing battery voltage telemetry. The control is provided by linear micro servos. The Blade 120S can be flown outdoors in light winds due to its slightly larger size compared to micro helicopters, yet it is small enough to fly in a variety of indoor environments.

SAFE technology facilitates the learning process of piloting an RC helicopter and allows the selection of the flight mode. Each flight mode has different characteristics attributed to the level of piloting, and advanced stability helps with control. In addition, SAFE technology allows the use of a Panic button that automatically returns the Blade 120 S2 to steady flight.
Beginner - the helicopter is easy to steer, prevents unsuitable flight attitudes, deflections are small, therefore limiting maximum bank angles.
Advanced - the roll limit is less restricted, but the flight envelope is still protected by higher stability.
Expert - no roll limit, steering is free without restriction.

The rotor head mechanics contain a relatively small number of components, which reduces weight, increases steering precision and reduces crash repair requirements. The 4-in-1 control unit installed in the model is equipped with a receiver compatible with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSMX modulation, main and tail motor controller and unmanned stabilisation. Telemetry can also be used with compatible Spektrum transmitters. Rely on the superior reliability of Spektrum technology and ensure safe driving.

The RTF version includes the Spektrum MLP6 6-channel transmitter. Use the three-position switch to select the flight mode and the button to activate the Panic function. The LED indicates the status of the power battery (green, yellow and red). If the light is red, the transmitter emits warning tones. Double deflections and digital trims are the main features. The USB charger can be powered from USB sources or computers. The 3.7 V 500 mAh LiPol battery included in the set offers an average flight time of 6 minutes.
