Proč z podporovaných OS zmizel Linux Ubuntu, když na stránkách výrobce je uveden? Tuto redukci jsem si koupi a pod Linuxem nainstaloval úplně bez problémů (Lubuntu 16.04 LTS). Ovladač pro Ubuntu (konkrétně pro 14.04 LTS a 16.04 LTS) je přiložen na CD. Stačí pouze spustit (zkopírovat na disk přiřadit oprávnění ke spuštění a spustit jako root) a vše potřebné se nainstaluje samo. Pak jen připojit adaptér s monitorem a nastavit zobrazení na více monitorů. Jelikož mám odlehčené Lubuntu (u klasického ubuntu to jde naklikat graficky) zabudovaný správce monitorů umí nastavit pouze zrcadlení, proto jsem musel použít program xrandr z příkazové řádky. Konkrétně pro mé 3 LCD monitory 1600x1200 příkaz vypadá takto: xrandr --output DVI-I-1-1 --mode 1600x1200 --pos 0x0 --output HDMI3 --pos 1600x0 --output HDMI2 --pos 3200x0 kde DVI-I-1-1 je USB 3.0 redukce a HDMI3 a HDMI2 jsou porty přímo na noťasu. parametr --pos určuje pozici monitorů na virtuální ploše --mode zapne monitor v udaném rozlišení.

Zdravím. Nebudu používat monitor na hry ani jako televizi. Lze připojit adapter přes USB 2.0 ? Jak bude případně omezen obraz na připojeném monitoru. Děkuji předem za odpověď. Ruda.

Dnes som túto šikovnú krabičku kúpil. Funguje bez problémov. Jedna poznámka: Pokiaľ budete inštalovať na Win 10, tak ovládače neinštalujte z priloženého CD. U mňa spôsobili kolaps Win, ktorý som odstraňoval niekoľko hodín. Stiahnite si ovládače na Win 10 priamo zo stránok displaylink :External Link ušetríte si hromadu nepríjemností.
