Kodak EC35 Butter Yellow + Ultramax 24EXP
The Kodak EC35 Butter Yellow film camera exposes images onto standard 35mm type 135 film. It offers simplified mechanical operation without any electronic components for adjusting the exposure. The body is made from a durable material. The integrated 25mm fixed-focus acrylic lens works with a fixed aperture and constant shutter speed. The camera is powered by a single AA alkaline battery, which exclusively supplies power to the built-in flash. This lets users take photos in various light conditions, both outdoors and indoors.

Kodak EC35 camera optics
The camera's optical system consists of two separate optical elements made of acrylic. The 25mm wide-angle lens allows you to capture landscapes and group shots. The fixed f/10 aperture lets a constant amount of light reach the film frame. The fixed focus works from one metre to infinity without needing manual adjustment. The two-element lens produces images with a specific retro look, characteristic of the classic analogue format.
Flash and shutter
The mechanical shutter operates with a fixed exposure time of 1/100s, which is sufficient for capturing everyday scenes without blur. When shooting in the shade or in dark rooms, the built-in flash, which the user activates manually, comes in handy. The flash is powered by a single AA alkaline battery, which is not included in the package. The mechanical shutter itself works entirely without electricity.
Construction and protection
The camera body is made of durable ABS plastic, which resists the usual mechanical wear and tear from being carried in a backpack or pocket. The front features a mechanical sliding cover that, when closed, protects the lens from dust, fingerprints and scratches. Sliding this cover makes the camera ready to use.
Working with film
This camera uses the classic 135 film format. Film transport is fully manual. After all the frames have been exposed, the user winds the film back into the canister. Manual operation gives the photographer full control over film advancement and prevents accidental rewinding of the sensitive material.
Simple operation
The point-and-shoot design does not require any prior setting of shutter speed, aperture or film sensitivity. The direct optical viewfinder is used to quickly frame the scene and determine the correct composition before pressing the shutter. The entire process of taking a photo consists of simply aiming at the subject and then pressing the mechanical shutter. This straightforward approach to analogue technology is ideal for beginner photographers who want to avoid complex technical parameters.
