The foamed-in, wrap-around evaporator surrounds the freezer's interior and ensures rapid temperature exchange with very low energy consumption. The inner walls of the LIEBHERR CFd 2505 freezer have a smooth surface, so they are also easy to clean.
StopFrost technology reduces frost build-up inside the LIEBHERR freezer
StopFrost technology significantly reduces frost build-up in the chest freezer by quickly capturing and removing moisture that enters with the air. Thanks to the StopFrost system, you don't need to defrost the freezer as often. When you open the LIEBHERR CFd 2505 chest freezer, warm air can get inside. StopFrost then prevents a vacuum from forming when the lid is closed, so you can easily open it again straight away without using extra force.
Automatic SuperFrost
The automatic SuperFrost function provides highly efficient and energy-saving freezing in the LIEBHERR CFd 2505 freezer. At a temperature of -32°C, heat is rapidly extracted from freshly added food, its temperature drops sharply, and the formation of water crystals inside the food is significantly reduced. Once the freezing process is complete, or after 65 hours of operation at the latest, the SuperFrost function deactivates automatically. This function ensures that the maximum nutritional value of the food is preserved during freezing.
