Leros Rosehip 150 g
Rosehip herbal tea will support your immunity and the resilience of your respiratory tract. Rosehips are known for their high vitamin C content and for their antioxidant effects. People have been collecting them since prehistoric times and information about their beneficial properties also appeared in mediaeval herbals. In the famous Mattioli's herbal from the 16th century, an entire chapter entitled 'O Ruoži Kapitola' ('On the Rose Chapter') is devoted to rosehips.
Preparation
Pour boiling water (250ml) over 1 teaspoon of the fruit, infuse for 10–15 minutes, then strain. The tea can be sweetened, preferably with honey. Always prepare fresh.
Taste and Aroma
Rosehip tea has a distinct sweet and sour taste that will both warm and refresh you. The unique taste of the tea is underscored by the clear ruby-red colour of the infusion and its fruity, herbal aroma.
Warning
Store in a dry place up to 25°C, protected from light and foreign odours. Keep out of reach of children.
