Ivana Peroutková
A writer and translator, Ivana Peroutková graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University with a degree in theatre and film studies. She made her debut with the novel Na vahách života (1992). Since then, she has authored over forty titles for young readers, teenagers, and adults. She is the creator of the exceptionally successful book series about the little girl Anička and the extraordinary heroine Valentýnka. Ivana Peroutková's books regularly feature in the top spots of reader polls and have won several awards. Ivana lives in Prague and has a daughter and two sons.
