Prepare for the next step in developing your operating systems! Microsoft, which holds a leading position in the personal computer system segment, comes with a new version of legendary Windows that will help you work more efficiently and provide ample space for multimedia entertainment. It builds on the improved previous version of Windows 8.1, but the design of the system remembered the comments of users who were extensively integrated into Windows 10 .
Work faster with new features
One of the drawers that have been introduced as the core system is the return of the classic Start menu , which makes all of your programs and setup settings under control and quickly ready. In addition to the list of programs, it is possible to view even smaller vivid tiles - you will have a quick overview of weather forecasts, unread news, or fresh social and RSS reader information. An interesting feature of these tiles is the ability to populate a 3D cube on which all the tiles are simply visible.
Microsoft has also built and equipped the most recent Cortana Voice Assistant , using the voice of commands, or having a quick overview of work and other events in its calendar.
Of course, there is always a link to OneDrive , so you can back up your important data and files to cloud storage and share your content with colleagues and acquaintances.
Multiple areas on one monitor
One of the most important newly introduced features that could lead to higher work efficiency is the native support of multiple desktop sites on one monitor . The concept of " virtual areas are especially useful for presentations where you can easily switch to the areas you want viewers to see and do not want to close applications that are to keep their eyes hidden. Work on your projects will also be clearer with this system.
New applications for work and entertainment
Microsoft is known to integrate quality and well-designed applications that are used by millions of people around the world. Windows 10 builds on this story, and a set of enhanced apps that make life easier for the user. In addition to the mail client within Outlook.com is now available in the redesigned look, such as photo manager, contact manager, and completely redesigned calendar.
For technically-based users, such as network administrators, it will certainly be a welcome addition to the ability to use keyboard shortcuts in the command line and any size changes to the window. File Explorer now displays the most used folders and files, so there is no need to get to the files via the link you've previously visited.
If you do not have the applications provided with the operating system, of course, you can also visit a new store with Windows Store applications , from which other programs for desktop and mobile platforms can be easily downloaded. Many of them are universally compatible, which means they can be used on both PCs and Windows Phone, Xbox One, and HoloLens phones.
This is related to another novelty - the future holographic user interface . Windows 10 applications will be able to take advantage of the vast array of 3D HoloLens glasses that are projected into three-dimensional virtual space.
