Active cooling is handled by four 60mm fans with automatic speed control based on component temperature. The design maintains an optimal operating temperature for all components, even during continuous operation in a server room. The entire device weighs 13kg without any drives installed.

Hybrid storage architecture

Expansion options

QuTS hero operating system
The system uses the QuTS hero operating system, which is based on the ZFS file system and places a strong emphasis on data integrity. ZFS offers advanced features such as self-healing of corrupted data blocks, inline deduplication, and real-time data compression. These technologies significantly reduce storage capacity requirements and increase the lifespan of SSDs. The operating system includes tools for creating virtually unlimited system snapshots for quick disaster recovery. Management is handled via a clear web interface.
