Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Canine OM Obesity Management 3kg
A complete dietetic food for adult dogs designed to reduce excessive body weight and regulate glucose sources (Diabetes mellitus). This dietetic food has a reduced metabolisable energy content and a low total sugar content (mono- and disaccharides). The high protein content supports the reduction of fat tissue and the maintenance of muscle mass during weight loss. The low calorie content helps to reduce weight. Carbohydrate sources with a low glycaemic index help to nutritionally manage diabetes mellitus.
Do not feed veterinary diets to your pet without a vet’s recommendation! You should also consult your vet at least once every 6 months on whether to continue using the food. If your pet's condition worsens in any way while using the diet, contact your vet immediately.

*For every additional 5kg of body weight, add 40g of dry food for weight maintenance.
**For every additional 5kg of body weight, add 20g of dry food for weight reduction.
The recommended daily allowance is based on the dog's current weight, average energy requirements and an expected weight loss of 2% per week. The daily food allowance should be checked and adjusted every 4 weeks. PURINA PRO PLAN VETERINARY DIETS OM Obesity Management can also be fed long-term to maintain weight in dogs predisposed to becoming overweight (see the feeding guide for weight maintenance). In the case of hyperlipidaemia, it is recommended that the food be fed for an initial period of 2 months.
