ROYAL CANIN® Mini Starter Mother & Babydog is designed with the help of ROYAL CANIN® "Start Complex". It is an exclusive combination of nutritional elements found in breast milk. These elements are fortified with specific nutrients that actively support healthy digestion and the natural defenses of puppies. This unique formula meets the needs of both the mother and her puppies during the first five periods of life: pregnancy, birth, lactation, weaning and growth (up to 8 weeks). The nutritional profile of the food is adapted to meet the high energy needs of your bitch at the end of pregnancy and during lactation. The essential nutrients in ROYAL CANIN® Mini Starter Mother & Babydog include poultry meat, rice, animal fats, plant proteins, hydrolysed yeast (this is a natural substance, which increases palatability) and calendula extract (a source of lutein). By soaking in water, the granules are easily rehydrated to a slurry. This form is very palatable for both the mother and the weaning puppies who are transitioning from breast milk to solid food.
