Royal Canin VD Dog Dry Gastro Intestinal Low Fat is a complete dietary food for dogs that regulates lipid metabolism in hyperlipidemia. The feed is low in fat and high in essential fatty acids. The combination of highly digestible proteins (L. I. P. ) with prebiotics (fructo-oligosaccharides and manno-oligosaccharides), beet pulp, rice and fish oil safely support optimal digestion. Low fat content improves digestive function in dogs with hyperlipidaemia or acute pancreatitis. The low concentration of soluble fiber helps to limit fermentation in the column. The low concentration of insoluble fibre prevents a reduction in the energy value of the diet and limits the possible negative effect on the palatability of the low-fat diet. A synergistic complex of antioxidants reduces oxidative stress and destroys free radicals.
