Meze Empyrean II

Meze Empyrean II is an improved version of the flagship Empyrean headphones with greater clarity and dynamics. A new tuning system moves the sound towards greater transparency and liveliness, while the patented Rinaro Isodynamic Hybrid Array with an anatomically designed structure improves spatial rendering and sound quality. The frequency range of the headphones is 8-110,000 Hz, allowing a wide range of sounds to be reproduced, from very deep bass to crisp highs. Harmonic distortion (THD) across the entire frequency range dropped below 0.05% for this model. Compared to its predecessor, the Empyrean II has a darker design with a new acoustic grille pattern and lower weight. Maximum listening comfort is ensured by a flexible head bridge and a leather headband that automatically adjusts to the shape of your head. Included in the package are 2 types of earpieces (DUO + Angled Alcantara), a premium copper PCUHD cable and a hard ABS plastic carrying case.

Meze Empyrean II delivers a more refined sound

The second generation of Meze Empyrean headphones boasts improved transparency and a richer treble range while maintaining the smoothness and lightness of the original model. The manufacturer achieved this by making minor changes to the transducer, including its placement, and modifying the earcup design. The Empyrean II's boundaries are a bit fresher and more fun, with a better spatial presentation and more depth than its predecessor.

Powerful Rinaro magnetoplanar converters

As in the case of the 1st generation, the Meze Empyrean II headphones are based on Rinaro's magnetoplanar transducers with an Isoplanar diaphragm (4650 mm²) placed between two areas of strong magnets. The diaphragm again includes two independent coils (switching and spiral) shaped so that all sound components reach the ear from the entire diaphragm surface at the right time and with the right intensity. You can enjoy a more natural sound with very good response in the low and mid-range frequencies.

Meze Empyrean II headphones are very comfortable

The Meze Empyrean II wired headphones offer maximum comfort even during long listening sessions. Their construction consists of a very lightweight carbon bridge with a specially shaped leather headband that automatically adapts to the shape of your head, ensuring optimal weight and pressure distribution. Thanks to the patented "wing-shaped" end of the nose pieces, the 449 grams headphones (with earpieces) are very comfortable to wear without the risk of neck pain or bruising.

Includes two anatomically shaped earpieces

Two types of earpieces are included. They are held in place by magnets and their ergonomic shape faithfully copies the actual shape of the human ear. The DUO earcup has a leather covering around the perimeter, while the areas that directly touch the head are made of Alcantara. This earcup adds a modern dimension to the Empyrean II's distinctive sound profile. The well-breathable angled earcup made of soft Alcantara-coated foam with a fine protective mesh on the grille is then ideal for reproducing fine details and nuances in recordings.
