Siemens RTN71 Thermostatic head with separate sensor

Siemens RTN71 is a thermostatic head with a separate sensor. Thermostatic actuators are designed to control the temperature in a room. The control is provided manually by means of a rotary knob. This is the fully enclosed version with anti-frost position. Installation is quick thanks to the pull nut and the operation is completely maintenance-free. The adjustable temperature range is 0 to 28 °C (scale 0-5). The Siemens RTN71 head is equipped with frost protection at 8 °C as well as stops for setting minimum and maximum values. The built-in liquid sensor reacts quickly to changes in room temperature. The connection is made with M30 × 1.5 mm thread. The surface is matt.

Wide valve compatibility and easy installation

The installation of a separate sensor allows the head to be used wherever conditions are not suitable for the standard RTN51 head. The temperature sensor is connected to the thermostatic head by a capillary line. Siemens RTN71 can be installed on Siemens VDN, VEN and VUN valves, as well as on VPD and VPE combi-valves.It is also compatible with Heimeier brand valves, Cazzaniga, Oventrop M30 × 1.5, Honeywell-Braukmann, MNG and TA type TBV-C, without the need for an adapter. It is also possible to install a valve head with a union nut and M30 × 1.5 mm thread, also without an adapter. In case of combination with valves from other manufacturers, a suitable AV series adapter must be used.
