The Sirui Aurora 85mm f/1.4 lens uses an optical system composed of 14 elements in 9 groups. The combination of aspherical elements and special types of ED and HRI glass effectively reduces chromatic aberration, spherical distortion and loss of contrast in backlight. The result is high sharpness from the centre to the edges of the image and consistent image performance across the aperture range.
Lens aperture and blur work
A maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows low-light shooting without the need to significantly increase ISO sensitivity, while also providing significant control over depth of field. The 15-blade aperture produces a smooth and natural background blur that is especially suitable for portraits, close-ups and creative video.

Autofocusing is achieved by a stepper motor that works quickly, precisely and quietly.
