The Elite Rivo is Elite's smart cycling trainer that offers premium features in a compact and affordable format - perfect for those just starting out in indoor cycling who want an easy-to-use, advanced performance experience. The smart trainer offers everything in terms of precision and connectivity - it's quiet and connects to all the most widely used cycling training apps via Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi and Zwift Protocol BLE, with automatic resistance control on inclines up to 18%. It provides calculated performance with ±2.5% accuracy and automatically searches for and installs firmware updates thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. The Elite basic trainer is based on a simple idea - to make indoor cycling easier at every stage of your training. Lightweight, compact and easy to carry and store, the Rivo has folding legs and a practical integrated handle that makes every move easier. Connectivity with integrated Wi-Fi

With Wi-Fi connectivity complemented by Bluetooth® protocol, the Elite Rivo connects to your home network for faster and more stable data transfer. The connection makes the trainer even more responsive, even during the most intense phases of a race in training applications. Wi-Fi supports 2.4GHz networks and allows the trainer to automatically detect and install firmware updates. Configuration is only necessary once, according to the setup instructions. The system then automatically checks for new firmware updates without the need to perform any manual actions. Once paired, Rivo connects to your Wi-Fi network every time it's turned on.

Interval Recovery and Supertuck

The Elite Rivo cycle trainer is designed to support you through every phase of your workout with precision and consistency. The Easy Start feature helps you resume intervals after stopping the pedals without any bumps or dips in power - just a smooth return to the previous load. Thanks to the Supertuck feature, the trainer instantly reduces the power value as soon as you stop pedaling, allowing Zwift to immediately detect a lack of power and automatically activate the aerodynamic position of your avatar. The bike trainer is equipped with dual-channel Bluetooth®, allowing you to connect two Bluetooth® devices simultaneously, such as a cycling computer and a training app. Thanks to the Bridge feature, you can connect a heart rate monitor or cadence sensor to the trainer and send data to the app via a single FTMS BLE connection, which is especially useful on Apple TV, which supports up to two Bluetooth Smart sensors simultaneously.

Train wherever you want

The Elite Rivo bike trainer offers two separate modes that allow you to train anywhere - even without an app or power connection. If the device is powered but not connected to the software, you can use the My E-Training app to pre-set the incline up to +18%, which will be maintained even when offline. When the device is not powered or connected, you can use the app to pre-set one of 16 resistance levels that are ideal for outdoor workouts. The trainer automatically adjusts resistance to simulate inclines up to 18%, making every climb realistic. You can pair it with the Rizer, Elite's climbing simulator with integrated steering that moves your bike up and down to give you the full indoor riding experience. Add Aria, a smart fan that adjusts airflow intensity based on your training data - for an even more intense and authentic riding experience.

Settings that will change your workout

Rivo is also compatible with Square, the Elite's intelligent frame with advanced virtual shifting that lets you replicate your outdoor bike down to the smallest detail. To attach it, simply remove the cartridge you normally use with training apps and mount the frame directly to the trainer. In moments, you're ready for a fully personalised workout - just like you're on your real bike. Square offers seven points of adjustment for saddle, handlebar, top tube and cranks. You can also share it with other users, and up to five profiles can be configured in the app, each with its own gear, converter and cartridge settings.

Compatible with all bikes and applications

Rivo connects to any cycling app thanks to Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi and Zwift Protocol BLE support. Before you start, check your device's specifications to make sure it supports these connections. When you purchase Rivo, you get 12 months of free access to My E-Training, which is fully compatible with major cycling platforms, like Zwift, MyWhoosh, Rouvy, Kinomap, Bkool and others. Rivo is also ready to connect with Zwift Cog and Click, unlocking the full virtual shifting experience on Zwift. Just remove the cartridge you use with other applications and replace it with Zwift Cog. The Zwift Cog is compatible with most 8 to 12 speed drives and adds versatility to your trainer so you can easily change wheels without worrying about compatibility. For a customized setup for your Elite smart trainer, we recommend using the Elite Cog (without FreeHub), which is specifically designed for full compatibility with Elite trainers. Zwift Click, which mounts to any handlebar, allows you to control the resistance and shifting between 24 virtual gears. You can get the Cog and Click Upgrade Pack from Zwift.
