The Jurek MIDI 3.5 tent is a single-entry double-skinned "dome" tent with a rectangular floor plan suitable for all types of hiking up to moderately demanding conditions and for more frequent use. The inner tent is firmly connected to the floor. The structure is suspended from the rods by tension cords and hooks. The top of the inner tent has ventilation holes covered with fine mesh. In the entrance of the inner tent there is a mosquito net made of fine mesh for more intensive ventilation and to protect against unpleasant insects.

Comfortable stay on the go
The outer tent (tropico) is pulled over the structure and at the bottom it is attached by the ends of the poles. In front of the entrance of the inner tent, the tropico is stretched to create an anteroom that allows both storage of belongings and careful cooking. The anchoring is provided by handles on the edges, the top of the vestibule and in the centres of the 3 sides of the tropic. In the upper part there are two ventilation dormers on the narrower sides. There is a gap of about 5-6 cm between the inner and outer tent walls, which improves thermal comfort, ventilation and reduces dew. The gap can be adjusted as required by loosening or tightening the tensioning cords of the inner tent.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
