The 2-litre professional gastronorm container STATUS 178554 is ideal for storing larger quantities of food, such as whole fruit and vegetables, larger pieces of meat, or other ingredients that require a high standard of storage and extended shelf life. The durable Xarec material is suitable for the dishwasher and freezer, and is also safe for microwave heating. It is tested and certified for safe food contact. The professional gastronorm container is suitable for storing large quantities of cleaned and chopped vegetables for the immediate preparation of fresh dishes, whole vegetables and fruit, larger quantities of fresh marinated meat, which will tenderise faster and absorb flavours better in a vacuum, washed lettuce and chopped cabbage, and all other foods you need for meal preparation that you want to store properly.

STATUS gastronorm containers are designed for maximum functionality and efficiency. All volumes have the same width and length, differing only in height. This design allows you to use one type of vacuum lid (not included) for all container sizes. The professional Tritan vacuum lids are available in six colour options corresponding to HACCP standards for easy food category identification, plus one neutral colour – red for storing raw meat, green for storing vegetables, white for dairy and bakery products, blue for raw fish and other seafood, yellow for safely storing poultry, brown for cooked meat, and a neutral grey for other categories.
