The STATUS Gastronorm Container Lid transforms your existing GN 1/9 stainless steel gastronorm containers into vacuum containers, perfect for professional kitchens and home use. The Eastman Tritan material is highly durable, BPA-free, and does not absorb odours or colours from stored food. Together with the food-grade silicone seal and valve, it creates a hermetically sealed space once the air is removed. The reduced contact with oxygen slows down the oxidation process, prevents the growth of microorganisms, stops odours from spreading in the fridge, and extends the shelf life of ingredients for several days in the fridge or for weeks in the freezer. The STATUS Gastronorm Container Lid is designed for use with the BVP300 vacuum pump or Status vacuum sealers equipped with a special adapter. The transparent lid provides a clear view of the contents without needing to open it. The mechanism is very easy to maintain, as the construction can be safely hand-washed or cleaned in a dishwasher.
