Rollei Ocean Pocket Bag
The Rollei Ocean Pocket bag lets you safely carry your compact camera and small photography accessories. This camera bag protects your gear from mechanical damage and bad weather while you travel. The manufacturer has used PU-coated nylon for the outer sections, complemented by durable polyester. The interior provides enough space for one camera and several memory cards or spare batteries. Its light weight makes it easy to carry all day long out in the field.
Key features of the Rollei Ocean Pocket bag
- Main compartment has a 0.4L capacity
- Outer material contains recycled plastic
- Waterproof zips protect the interior from rain
- Adjustable strap offers three different ways to wear
- Total weight of the empty case is 123g
- Loops on the back for attaching to a belt
Protective materials
The PU-coated nylon used is highly resistant to abrasion and dirt. The outer surface repels water and prevents moisture from reaching the sensitive electronics inside. The manufacturer has used environmentally friendly recycled plastic, thereby reducing the bag's ecological footprint. The inner lining absorbs shocks and protects the camera from scratches. The easily washable surface makes for quick cleaning if it gets dirty.
Internal layout and pockets
A total of four separate compartments help keep your stored items neatly organised. The main 14×9×3cm compartment holds the camera body itself. Smaller pockets securely hold memory cards and batteries, keeping them separate. A hidden pocket is useful when travelling. The fixed internal layout prevents your photography gear from moving around during transport.
Versatile carrying options
The adjustable strap allows you to adapt the carrying style to your current needs. You can wear the bag conventionally over your shoulder, as a crossbody bag, or as a simple bum bag around your waist. The strap is easy to shorten if needed. The soft design adapts to the contours of your body and doesn't dig in, even with all-day use.
Waterproof zips and security
All pocket openings are protected by covered, waterproof zips. These features prevent rainwater and dust from entering the main compartment. The metal and plastic components withstand the mechanical stress of frequent opening and closing. Strong seams prevent the material from tearing in high-stress areas. The interior lining provides an additional crumple zone in case of an accidental drop from a low height.
Flexible attachment
Small integrated loops on the back expand the options for attaching it to other equipment. This lets you easily fasten the bag to a belt or the strap of a larger backpack. This system simplifies transport and provides instant access to your camera. The compact external dimensions of 15×12×6cm comply with carry-on luggage limits. The low weight of 123g does not restrict the photographer's mobility during long journeys.
Use for compact gear
This model is particularly useful for owners of compact cameras. The pockets can also hold small accessories like cables, filters, or cleaning kits. The bag serves as both a standalone case and an organiser inside larger travel luggage. The simple black design is neutral and goes well with any outdoor clothing.
