The Ubiquiti UniFi All-weather UVC-AI-Dome IP camera captures its surroundings in 3840 × 2160px resolution at a frame rate of 30fps. The wide-angle lens with a horizontal viewing angle of 134° captures a vast scene. In low-light conditions, the infrared night vision illuminates the monitored area up to a distance of 40m. The system uses advanced algorithms to detect movement, people, vehicles, and animals. A quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor handles all operations directly on the device. Image parameters and optics
A 1/1.8" 8MP sensor forms the basis of the optics. The fixed lens captures the scene in 3840 × 2160px resolution. Smooth recording takes place at a speed of 30fps, which helps capture fast movements. The horizontal viewing angle has a range of 109.9° and the vertical viewing angle has a value of 56.7°. H.264 video compression effectively reduces data demands and saves storage space without loss of detail.
Night vision
Area monitoring continues even after dark thanks to the integrated lighting system. The infrared night vision uses built-in high-efficiency IR LEDs. These elements emit invisible light with a range of 40m to illuminate the scene in complete darkness. The camera automatically switches between day and night modes using a mechanical IR cut filter. The black-and-white night image retains high sharpness and rendering of small details.
Smart detection and AI features
The integrated processor runs advanced artificial intelligence algorithms directly on the device. The system performs accurate detection of motion, people, vehicles, and animals in real time. The Motion Detection 2.0 feature significantly reduces the occurrence of false alarms caused by wind or insects. Users can define specific activity zones to monitor selected parts of the image. When the perimeter is breached, the system sends instant mobile notifications to alert you to the event.
Sound and recording storage
The device includes an integrated microphone to capture the audio track from the surrounding environment. The audio recording is captured along with the video and helps to detect suspicious background noises. For data storage, there is a slot for a MicroSDXC memory card with support for up to 256GB. Users can also use a private cloud for secure backup on the local network. The system supports both continuous 24/7 recording and motion-activated recording.
Durable construction and mounting
The dome-style construction is highly resistant to external influences. The IP66 rating protects the internal components from rain and dust. The IK10 impact resistance provides protection against vandalism and damage in demanding environments. The device operates in a temperature range of -30°C to 50°C all year round. Manual rotation in both horizontal and vertical directions facilitates precise aiming of the lens during ceiling mounting.
Connectivity and application
The network interface consists of a single RJ-45 Ethernet port with gigabit speed support. Data transfer and power are handled via this connector using the PoE standard in the voltage range of 42.5 to 57V DC. Remote management and live view monitoring is provided by the UniFi Protect mobile app for smartphones. The software supports Android and iOS operating systems for convenient control from anywhere. The app interface is available in English, German and French.
