Ubiquiti UniFi Panel Antenna Ultra
Ubiquiti UniFi Panel Antenna Ultra
The Ubiquiti UniFi Panel Antenna is designed to extend coverage and direct the signal of a wireless network. This component attaches directly to the compatible UK-Ultra access point using a clip-on mechanism. Its construction from UV-stable polycarbonate and aluminium withstands outdoor weather conditions. The directional 65° radiation angle helps to cover specific outdoor areas. The IP66-rated housing protects the internal components from water and dust ingress. The polycarbonate prevents material degradation due to sunlight. The construction can withstand wind pressure of 75N at speeds up to 200km/h. The aluminium parts increase the overall strength of the unit when mounted on a pole.
Key Features of the Ubiquiti UniFi Panel Antenna Ultra WiFi Antenna
- The antenna gain in the 5GHz band is 15dBi and in the 2.4GHz band is 10dBi
- The directional radiation angle is 65°
- The IP66 rating protects the internal parts from water
- The total weight of the structure is 450g
- The device supports the 802.11ac wireless standard
- The dimensions are 20.7 × 13.8 × 4.3cm
Directional Radiation
The antenna operates in two frequency bands simultaneously. In the 2.4GHz band, it achieves a gain of 10dBi, and in the 5GHz band, a gain of 15dBi. The radiation angle is 65°. This radiation angle concentrates the wireless signal in one direction and reduces unwanted interference from other sides. The device supports the 802.11ac standard for data transmission.
Installation
This component attaches directly to the UK-Ultra access point without the need for tools. The clip-on system makes it easy to attach to the unit's body. The product supports the standard mounting methods of Swiss Army Knife products on pipes with a diameter of 1″ to 2″. The total weight of the module is 450g.
