The surface of the Villeroy & Boch Single 595 sink is treated with the CeramicPlus system. This is a sealed, non-porous ceramic surface that prevents dirt, cooking waste and unsightly limescale from sticking to your kitchen sink. The ceramic sink is fired in kilns and the glaze is applied by hand, making each piece an original.

Installing the VILLEROY & BOCH Single 595 ceramic sink
The Villeroy & Boch Single 595 is classified as a modular sink – this means it is not permanently attached to the worktop. It is mounted directly onto the base cabinet, and the worktop is either pushed up against it from both sides, or the worktop overlaps the edges of the sink from above. Modular sinks are primarily recommended for installation with worktops made of non-absorbent material. If a solid wood worktop is to be used, you must ensure the edges of the cut-outs in the worktop are properly sealed.

A dimensional tolerance of +/– 1–1.5cm must be taken into account. It is recommended to have the sink physically present when creating the kitchen unit.
