In the event of a rupture, water escapes through the outer casing of the hose into the lower part of the dishwasher (the emergency container), where a float triggers a fault alarm and activates Aquastop by sending a signal to the electronic valve. The water inlet is closed, and the drain pump empties the dishwasher's tank.
