The dishwasher has an AquaStop electric valve installed on the water inlet, which stops the water flow from the mains in the event of the inner casing of the inlet hose rupturing. In case of a rupture, water escapes through the outer casing of the hose into the bottom of the dishwasher (the emergency container), where a float triggers a fault alarm and activates AquaStop by sending a signal to the electronic valve. The water supply is shut off and the drain pump empties the dishwasher's tank.
