Preparation
Every coffee is best enjoyed when ground properly. Honduras coffee requires a medium-fine grind, on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the finest, 10 being the coarsest) roughly grades 3-4, depending on the type of grinder and its wear. In espresso machines, we recommend setting the grinder to the finest grind and only use a coarser grind if the coffee flows slowly. Each bean is best enjoyed if the beans are freshly roasted - best 2 weeks to 2 months after roasting (depending on the storage of raw and roasted coffee, even roasted coffee can retain freshness for several months if stored in a vacuum from the farm to the roastery and properly packaged after roasting).
