It’s also useful in low light conditions, when you need better depth of field, etc. A good tripod should be sufficiently durable and have a higher weight capacity than is the weight of your camera equipment.

A telescopic stand lets you adjust the height as needed and the maximum or minimum tripod height has an impact on how comfortable your photo sessions are going to be. A tripod can’t be used without a tripod head.
