Image Quality
At its core is a 24" IPS panel with ELED backlighting, which displays content in standard Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) at a 16:9 aspect ratio. For a perfectly smooth image, which is key when playing action games, the refresh rate reaches up to 144Hz (overclocked from a native 120Hz). An extremely fast response is ensured by the 1ms (MPRT) value, which minimises ghosting and blurring in fast scenes. The panel provides a typical brightness of 250cd/m² and a solid native contrast ratio of 1,200:1for deeper blacks and brighter whites. The colour rendering with a depth of 6-bit + FRC (Frame Rate Control) effectively simulates 16.7 million colours and covers 72% of the NTSC colour space. The matte surface of the display with a Haze 25% treatment effectively absorbs reflections and improves readability even in brightly lit rooms. The monitor does not support HDR standards.
Ergonomics and Elegant Design
The manufacturer has designed the monitor with an emphasis on a modern and minimalist look, dominated by an ultra-narrow bezel on three sides. This solution not only looks great on the desk, but is also highly practical for multi-monitor setups, where it minimises the distracting transition between screens. The included stand allows for basic ergonomic adjustment in the form of a tilt range from -5° to +20°, which helps you find the optimal viewing angle for comfortable sitting. For maximum flexibility, the monitor includes a standard 100×100mm VESA interface. This allows for easy mounting on a wall or an adjustable arm, freeing up space on your desktop and achieving the perfect ergonomic setup.
User Comfort and Efficiency
For more comfortable viewing even during extended use, the Dahua 24" LM24-A221Y monitor includes Flicker-free technology. This reduces the invisible backlight flicker that is a common cause of eye strain and headaches, ensuring a more comfortable experience. In terms of running costs, it is an efficient device. It falls into energy class D (SDR) with a typical consumption of 21.2W, a maximum consumption of 22W, while in standby mode it does not exceed an economical 0.5W. The lightweight yet durable plastic housing reduces the total weight to just 2.8kg (without the stand), which makes any handling, transport and mounting on a VESA bracket easier. The menu is controlled intuitively thanks to the joystick on the back.

Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, movies or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.Maximum Brightness
The value given in nits or cd/m² determines the brightness of the monitor. A brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250.Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye fatigue. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
