More space and greater flexibility when cooking
AEG 6000 DoubleBridge TO64IM00XB hob
The AEG 6000 DoubleBridge TO64IM00XB induction hob offers rapid heating, precise control, and greater flexibility for working with different types of cookware. With its 60cm width, four induction zones, and elegant design featuring a Super Flat XL Frame stainless steel trim, it fits seamlessly into any modern kitchen while providing ample space for everyday cooking and preparing larger meals.
DoubleBridge – more options for larger and longer cookware
DoubleBridge technology lets you link two cooking zones on two different sides of the hob, making it better suited for larger pots, pans, or long roasting tins. The linked zones share the same temperature and time settings, which simplifies cooking with larger cookware and gives you more freedom when preparing various dishes.
Direct touch control – fewer steps, more control
The user interface with direct touch control uses an intuitive numerical scale from 1 to 14, so you can set the desired power level instantly without tedious switching between plus and minus buttons. This makes operation fast, clear, and convenient, even when you're cooking multiple dishes at once.
PowerBoost – extra power for a faster start to cooking
The PowerBoost function gives a cooking zone an instant burst of heat, speeding up the heating of your cookware and the start of the cooking process itself. It's perfect for when you need to quickly bring a large pot of water to the boil or shorten the preparation time during more intensive cooking. The official website states that it can bring water to the boil in less than 90 seconds.
Timer for more precise control over your cooking
The built-in timer on the AEG 6000 DoubleBridge TO64IM00XB hob can be set for up to one hour and automatically switches off the cooking zone when the set time has elapsed. This contributes to more precise results, easier work, and greater peace of mind when preparing meals. Additionally, regional specifications mention a countdown timer, minute minder, and Eco Timer for more efficient use of residual heat.
Safety for calmer everyday use
For enhanced safety, the hob is equipped with a child lock, which helps prevent accidental changes to the settings when children are present. There is also a 3-stage residual heat indicator, a lock function, Pause, an audible signal, and the option to turn it off. These features contribute to safer and more convenient use in daily operation.
