The Ajax SideButton enables intelligent control of lights and other devices through direct touch and touchless interaction. It responds to a gentle touch as well as to the approach of a hand, elbow or other part of the body at a distance of less than 15 mm. The feature is ideal for use in public places or in situations where touching the device is not desirable. It works reliably even when touched with gloves and provides instant response without delay. Includes a subtle backlight that
eases operation even in the dark without disturbing sleep. The backlight can be switched off. The Ajax SideButton must always be combined with an Ajax relay and a frame. The result is a fully functional intelligent LightSwitch.
