The Alpinestars GP PLUS R RIDEKNIT men's leather jacket is designed for sports riding. Its 1.3mm premium bovine leather outer shell is complemented by strategically placed RIDEKNIT® stretch fabric panels to ensure freedom of movement. Certified NUCLEON FLEX PLUS protectors and external plastic shoulder guards take care of safety. The jacket is fully compatible with TECH-AIR®5 airbag systems, further enhancing rider protection. The anatomical cut is tailored for a sporty riding position.

High level of protection
The jacket's foundation is a 1.3mm thick bovine leather outer shell, which provides high abrasion resistance. Internal protection is provided by NUCLEON FLEX PLUS insert protectors on the shoulders and elbows with CE Level 1 certification. The shoulders also feature external plastic guards with foam padding. The jacket has integrated memory foam inserts in the chest and back areas, which can be replaced with full Nucleon protectors. For maximum safety, it is ready for NUCLEON (CE2) back protector inserts and is fully compatible with TECH-AIR®5 airbag systems. Aramid and polyamide fabric panels increase seam strength in critical zones.
Comfort and a tailored fit
The jacket's anatomical cut is designed for optimal comfort in a sporty riding position. A key feature is the RIDEKNIT® stretch panels, located on the sleeves, neck, hips and shoulders. This knitted fabric allows for unrestricted movement and adapts to the rider's body. Comfort is further enhanced by a low-profile collar and sleeve cuffs made of soft neoprene. You can easily adjust the waist width using the hook-and-loop straps. YKK zips combined with hook-and-loop straps let you fine-tune the sleeve circumference. The extended back section provides better coverage for the lower back when leaning forward.
Ventilation and practical details
The jacket is also suitable for riding in warmer weather. Airflow is handled by zipped ventilation openings located under the arms, which let you regulate the intake of fresh air. Warm air is expelled through perforated panels on the back. For storing personal belongings, there are two zipped outer pockets and two inner pockets in the lining. There is also an internal waterproof pocket to protect your documents or phone from moisture. Reflective elements ensure better visibility in low-light conditions.
