The AMD A12-9800E is a powerful processor designed for computers that use a motherboard with an AM4 socket. This model, codenamed Bristol Ridge, is made with a 28nm manufacturing process and based on the Excavator architecture. You'll surely appreciate support for DDR4 memory up to 2400MHz or enhanced Radeon R7 Series graphics card with delta compression, 512 stream processors and a maximum clock rate of 900MHz. The processor's four cores are clocked at a base frequency of 3.1GHz which can be boosted to 3.8GHz when necessary. With the boost technology and four threads, you'll always have plenty of processing power. The AMD A12-9800E is quite energy-efficient with a power consumption of only 35 watts, and is of course equipped with a basic heatsink to prevent overheating.
