A switch is an active network unit connecting individual devices and other network elements. It is designed for controlling network traffic. The Aruba IOn 1930 48G 4SFP+ 370W Switch is made to be placed in a rack. The model impresses with a switching capacity of 176 Gb/s and 130.95 piece(s) packet capacity. The Switch features 48 RJ-45 ports that facilitate connection with network elements. 4 SFP connectors serve to transport data via optical fibers. 10/100/1000Base-T technology enables data transfer with a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s. It features Dual Personality ports, remarkable for incorporating both the RJ-45 and SFP connector ; however, only one can be in use at a time. The switch dimensions are 442.5 × 322.6 × 43.9mm. QoS or Quality of Service technology makes sure the switch doesn't get overloaded, and it also allows you to set up end station priority. The Hewlett Packard Enterprise device works with PoE technology that provides power and signal connection to end devices with a single LAN cable. Moreover, the switch offers effective management and settings preferences. Integrated LAN ports support a bandwidth speed of up to 1 Gbit. The weight of the switch is 4520g.
