The ASROCK B860M-H2 motherboard is built on the Intel B860 chipset and supports Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors in the LGA1851 socket. Its mATX (Micro ATX) form factor makes it a compact solution suitable for smaller builds, while still offering sufficient features for both everyday use and more demanding tasks.

Expansion and storage
For graphics cards and expansion cards, the board offers one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots, and an M.2 Key E slot for Wi-Fi modules. The Blazing M.2 slot with PCIe 5.0 x4 support achieves transfer speeds of up to 128Gb/s and is ready for future generations of ultra-fast SSDs. A second Hyper M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0 x4, which delivers high performance for demanding applications. For traditional storage, four SATA III ports are available.
Network connection and port selection
The rear panel provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port with transfer speeds of up to 20Gb/s, which is double that of the previous generation, and its reversible design makes connection easy. There are also three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity is provided by a Realtek Gigabit LAN with a speed of 1Gb/s. The board is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 outputs, which enable easy connection of multiple monitors and ensure wide compatibility with various displays. The sound output is handled by a Realtek ALC897 codec with support for eight-channel HD audio.
User features, BIOS and RGB equipment
The BIOS Flashback feature lets you update the BIOS without needing to install a processor. The Auto Driver Installer feature automatically installs the necessary drivers without using an optical drive. After installing the LAN driver, the system downloads and installs the remaining drivers automatically. The board supports Polychrome RGB technology and is equipped with connectors for both standard and addressable RGB components, such as LED strips or fans, with a maximum load of 3A. Compatibility with SignalRGB software further expands the possibilities for synchronising lighting across different devices and enables advanced effects that react to games or system parameters.
