A high-performance foundation for demanding builds
The motherboard uses a ProCool power connector with precise contact for lower impedance and better heat dissipation, while the ASUS DIGI+ Power Control digital power management enables precise voltage tuning for maximum system efficiency. Twelve power stages combine high-side and low-side MOSFETs with drivers into a single package that delivers the power and efficiency required by AMD processors. High-quality chokes and capacitors withstand extreme temperatures and deliver up to 110% better performance than the industry standard. The six-layer PCB ensures the stability and reliability of the entire platform.
Comprehensive cooling and fan control
A massive VRM heatsink with a large contact area for MOSFETs and chokes efficiently dissipates heat from the power circuits, while two M.2 drive heatsinks maintain an optimal operating temperature, ensuring consistent performance and storage reliability. A dedicated header for AIO liquid cooling and a pair of PWM/DC headers for CPU coolers provide flexible cooling options. All fan connectors support automatic detection of PWM or DC mode and can be configured via Fan Xpert 4 software or directly in the UEFI BIOS to customise cooling performance to your individual needs.
Port selection and connectivity
The rear panel offers two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports including one Type-C, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and an Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet port for data transfer speeds 2.5 times faster than standard Ethernet. Video outputs include DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.1 with support for 4K resolution at 60Hz. The audio section, featuring the SupremeFX S1220A chip, provides eight channels, an optical S/PDIF output, and five audio jacks, with the two front outputs equipped with op-amps for high-quality sound for headphones with 32–600Ω impedance.
