ASUS Strix DSP is an enhanced gaming headset with a USB dock that creates virtual 7.1 channel surround sound, filters out 90% of environmental noise and has extra large drivers for impressive sound reproduction of thunderous sounds as well as the finest details in the distance. That's how you know when to take action and support your comrades, or how to save your life because you hear your enemies before they can hear you. Due to the combination of these features, the headset got its name Strix from the mythical owl - become a predator with precise sound orientation.

ENC technology intelligently filters out more than 90% of environmental noise. The detachable control panel (powered via USB) has a built-in microphone that recognizes unwanted environmental sounds and effectively suppresses them. That's why you will always hear the conversation with your teammates clearly despite the frantic clicking of the keyboard and mouse. Headphones are universally applicable across platforms. Play on PC, Mac or PlayStation 4. With the combined 4-pole 3.5 mm mic/headphone audio adapter the Strix DSP headset is also perfectly suited for smartphones and tablets.

The DSP audio station does not require installation and processes native 7.1 channel surround sound to virtual 7.1 channel surround sound. There is no degradation of signals due to transfer which results in perfect sound. The DSP station offers 4 audio profiles for different games, including FPS shooters. Thanks to this it makes sure the sound draws you into the game. It also includes a special output switch so that you can use speakers without having to disconnect the headphones.

Hello, In September last year I bought a Strix DSP headset from Alza. Unfortunately the microphone that comes with the headset is now lost. After calling Asus (the manufacturer) they informed me I need to speak with my re-seller (Alza) to get a replacement. Asus support said they do not sell replacement parts. The only way to receive a microphone is to return the headset to you, and Alza would need to send the headset to service. Asus' service center will then add a new microphone and return the headset to you so I can pick it up. If needs be I can pay a service fee for this. Can you please confirm to me this is possible, and what I need to do? I can come at any time to my local branch office in Brno. Thank you! /Robin
