YATO Refractometer
A refractometer, or a meter designed to detect the physical properties of liquids, is able to measure the cooling or solidification temperature of the refrigerant or mixer in the washers based on their refractive index. It is also possible to measure the charge level of the battery. It comes in a practical case that includes a pipette, a screwdriver and a cloth.

Flow measurement procedure
- Pick up a small amount of liquid through the pipette.
- Lift the cover and apply 2-3 drops of liquid to the prism.
- Cover the backplate back so that the measured liquid evenly and without bubbles spreads over the prism surface.
- After 30 seconds, point to the light source and look into the eyepiece.
- The image needs to be focused using the focusing ring and the position of the light/shadow transition position on the appropriate scale indicating the properties of the liquid.
