The AXAGON ADR-215 active extension USB 2.0 cable, with a length of 15 metres, is the ideal tool for connecting your computer to a USB device like a mouse, keyboard, webcam, printer, scanner, plotter, and more. The active USB repeater cable amplifies the signal passing through it, which lets you connect a USB device over a much greater distance than a passive cable allows. If needed, you can use several cables in a row to extend its reach even further.
A major advantage of the ADR-215 cable is its integrated connector for additional power. In most cases, the power from the USB bus is sufficient, but for devices with higher power consumption over longer distances, the USB power supply might be inadequate. The additional mains power can solve this problem.
The exceptionally compact body of the repeater cable allows for hassle-free use in electrical conduits and cable management systems. The high-quality shielded cable guarantees high-speed communication and minimal unwanted interference.

- The active part of the cable includes a connector (Ø 3.5 × 1.3mm outer × inner diameter) for additional external power of 5V/1–2A.
- A 1.2m USB A-M / 3.5mm jack power cable is included in the package. This cable allows you to power the device from a standard mobile phone charger with a USB-A output of 5V / min. 1A, such as the AXAGON ACU-DS16.
- When powering the repeater cable with a power adapter, you can also connect an external 2.5" drive without needing a separate power supply for the drive.
- For a longer USB route with several repeater cables connected in series, the power from the USB bus may be insufficient even for USB devices with lower power consumption than an external 2.5" drive. In this case, boosting the power supply by connecting a power adapter can help.
