Power mode hub via a USB cable (bus power):
The USB bus power is sufficient to connect the USB device with a low power consumption (mouse, keyboard, card reader, flash disk, etc.) or self powered (printer, scanner, 3.5 "external drive) to all four ports.
The USB hub in this power mode also tightens up 2 Magnetic 2.5" external drives simultaneously.
Charging mobile devices (including iPad) is also possible in this power mode, but the charging current only reaches 0.9A, in some cases through 1A (depending on computer).

Power mode hub own USB charger - not included (self power):
Any mobile device charger with micro USB connector (recommended charging current 2A) can be used.
The USB hub in this power mode can handle 3 magnetic 2.5" external drives. For reliable long-term operation of the hub, we recommend connecting max. 2 magnetic external 2.5 "drives simultaneously.
Fast charging of mobile devices (including the iPad) current up to 2A at each of the ports on the hub. The total current supplied by the hub during charging is limited by the output current of the external power adapter.

Standalone mode charging without connecting to a computer (charging hub)
After disconnecting the connected computer or not connecting to the hub computer, the USB charger acts as a separate USB charging hub.
Fast charging of mobile devices (including the iPad) current up to 2A at each of the ports on the hub. Total current supplied by the hub when charging is limited by the output current of the external power adapter.
