AXAGON RVH-VGAN is an active HDMI-to-VGA adapter with audio output for connecting an older VGA monitor/TV/projector to a computer with an HDMI output. You can also use the adapter for set-top boxes or Xbox and PlayStation game consoles.
It supports resolutions up to 1920x1080 (WUXGA) at a 60Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its innovative electronics design, it delivers a high-quality, sharp image. The adapter supports one-way transmission from HDMI to VGA, not the other way around. It has a stereo output (3.5mm jack), so you can connect headphones or active speakers.
The audio output can be set to 32/44.1/48kHz at 16 or 24bit.
Another benefit is the built-in microUSB connector for additional power. This lets you connect devices like Raspberry Pi, Apple TV, some Smart TV boxes and others. When connecting to a desktop PC or laptop, no additional power is needed.
