The Berdsen BD-903 weather station provides you with information on the current indoor and outdoor temperature. Its backlit LCD screen also displays the time, date and a calendar. The exact time is controlled by automatic synchronisation using the DCF77 signal, and there is also an alarm clock function with a snooze option. The station remembers the minimum and maximum measured values, which is useful for monitoring temperature fluctuations. It includes a wireless outdoor sensor with a range of up to 60 metres.

A detailed overview of temperature and time

The main unit of the weather station measures the indoor temperature in the range of 0°C to 50°C. The included wireless sensor monitors outdoor conditions and can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. The device stores the lowest and highest recorded values in its memory, for both indoor and outdoor temperatures. In addition to the temperature, the 2.95-inch display also shows the exact time in 12/24h format, the date, and a calendar. Accuracy is ensured by receiving the DCF77 time signal, with the option to manually set the time zone.

Wireless technology and design

Communication between the main unit and the outdoor sensor is wireless, operating on a 433.92MHz frequency at a distance of up to 60 metres in an open space. The outdoor sensor has an IPX4 rating, which means it is resistant to splashing water. Both the main station and the sensor are powered by two AAA batteries each. A low battery indicator alerts you when they need replacing. The backlit display makes it easy to read the data, even in low light conditions.
